When that new idea for a project or creative pursuit presents itself, isn't starting always the hardest part?

I've been wanting to start a blog for a while now. At first it was the actual steps to setting it up that held me back. Then it was the details that go into laying out how the blog would look and be organized.

The final roadblock? That first blog post. I have several ideas simmering that I'd like to write about. But what should I do about the first post?

Do I tell a bit about myself? Describe what I want to write?

I decided I should just start.
